At Chilliwack Crime prevention Society we are looking for volunteers for our Speed Watch and City Watch programs.
Speed Watch is an educational program conducted with the Chilliwack Traffic Sections, The City of Chilliwack, and ICBC, aimed at reducing incidents of speeding, stop sign infractions, and handheld device offenses. The Speed Watch Program is designed to raise public awareness of the actual speeds drivers are traveling.
The City Watch Program works under the direction of Chilliwack RCMP and acts as an extra set of eyes and ears for the RCMP. The City Watch volunteers are trained to observe and record information that will be provided to the RCMP.
Qualifications Needed:
Be at least 18 years of age
Must pass a Police Information Check
Possess a valid Class 5 Drivers license
Commitment Required:
8 hours per month
