In the Gift Shop we sell food to the staff as well as the general public. We have a variety of items in the Gift Shop that we sell and everything we sell goes toward the purchase of much needed equipment for the various departments of the Hospital. The minimum volunteers hours required are 6 hours per month or 60 hours per year. Of course, you are welcome to work more hours than that if preferred.

We also run a staff 50/50 lottery every Friday as another way to fund-raise.

Each volunteer will receive on average 3 days of training in the Gift Shop until they feel comfortable with operating the cash register and are comfortable with the other duties expected of each volunteer, of which each person will receive a copy of responsibilities. Each shift is 3 hours, except on Sundays which is 2 1/2 hours each.

We have a $10.00 yearly membership fee and each volunteer will receive a red smock to wear while working. Each volunteer will also receive a parking pass if needed.

Each volunteer is required to fill out a criminal record check.
