The Abbotsford Arts Council has volunteer opportunities available at our annual music festival.

Held every Thursday evening in July, Jam in Jubilee is a free and family celebration of music and visual arts.

This year, we need help with set up and tear down. In this role, you’ll be assisting in setting up the stage and packing it up after, helping our audio technician, and setting up net fencing for the licensed area and packing it up after. We’re flexible with availability: if you’re only available for one afternoon, we’re happy you can Jam with us that afternoon!

Description of Volunteer Duties & Volunteer Requirements:

Our ideal stage volunteers are strong adults or late teens who can lift up to 60lbs,  take direction well, and preferably have a passion for or background in Music/Theatre/ Stage production. For other tasks passionate adults and teens are invited to participate. One night is better than no nights, set up OR take down is okay (no pressure to do both).

Volunteer Shifts:

  • Stage or PA set up crew (2:00pm – 6:00pm)
  • Stage or PA tear down crew (10:00pm – 12:30am)
  • Other tasks (6:00pm – 10:00pm)
