This is a fun event for everyone in the family – kids especially! Part of BC’s Family Fishing Weekend so there are no fishing licenses required for the entire weekend. This is a perfect time to gather for family fishing fun and community celebration. The boat launches will be open, or you can fish from the shore. Be sure to leave time to browse around because there will be community booths too.

By entering the Derby, you’ll be helping to control the population of pikeminnow, which is a predator of young Sockeye salmon and other fish in the lake.
