SUMMARY:Benefit Concert for the Community of Lytton - Volunteer Call-Out
DESCRIPTION:Organizers have chosen Chilliwack as a central location for this gathering. Evacuees from Lytton that are now based across the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley will be bussed in to participate in this event.  This will be the first time their community has gathered since the fire that destroyed their town. There will be a full day’s lineup of indigenous artists and musicians performing on the stage and the event will be streamed live across the country to raise funds awareness for the evacuees and victims of the fire. \n  \nVolunteer Role: Basic help setting up portable tents\, tables\, chairs\, distributing water bottles\, assisting with guests and visitor information\, collecting and removing garbage/recycling\, directing traffic\, possible miscellaneous tasks related to the set-up and organization of the event. \n  \nTime require: Minimum of 2 hours. (Specifically looking to find volunteers for set-up and tear down) \n  \nVedder River Park (Eastside of park near Vedder Road roundabout) \n  \nVolunteer time requirements: Set-up 9 am to 11 am.
