SUMMARY:Prospera Valley GranFondo
DESCRIPTION:The Prospera Valley GranFondo is a community cycling event in the Fraser Valley that allows 1500 riders to enjoy cycling the beautiful country roads of the Fraser Valley. On July 22\, we offer participants an opportunity to choose from three different distances in a granfondo style cycling event. \nYou can sign up to volunteer at http://www.valleygranfondo.com/volunteer/ \nVolunteers play a key role in creating an unforgettable experience for riders\, spectators\, media and special guests from all over. The event will draw on the help of approx. 300 volunteers over two days\, July 21 (rider package pick up) and 22 (event day)\, in historic Fort Langley\, the birthplace of British Columbia. Without these volunteers who offer their time\, energy\, support and enthusiasm we would not be able to have the great event we do. \nNote that volunteers are needed to act as course marshalls along the route in Abbotsford and Chilliwack.

DESCRIPTION:Envision Financial\, a division of First West Credit Union\, is celebrating Canada’s 150th anniversary with Simple Generosity\, an innovative 12-month program that applauds community volunteerism and supports local charities and non-profits. Every week throughout 2017\, an individual or team who has demonstrated exceptional dedication to community through their volunteer efforts will be selected from the regions in which First West operates.
