Gratitude Society is a registered charity serving vulnerable individuals, families, and their pets in Abbotsford. We are seeking Street Team volunteers to support our outreach programs and provide compassionate assistance to people experiencing crisis or homelessness.
Street Team responsibilities include:
Checking on individuals in need throughout Abbotsford
Providing basic support, conversation, and encouragement
Assisting with wellness checks
Helping connect people to resources
Reporting urgent concerns to our team
Optional: assisting with pet support when needed
We provide:
Training and orientation
A Street Team handbook
24/7 support
Community service hours and reference letters
Appreciation gifts and recognition at volunteer events
This role is ideal for caring, community‑minded individuals who want to make a meaningful impact through direct outreach.
