The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford is located on unceded Stó:lō territory. The 20,000 square foot facility opened in September 2008 and has since become a hub for excellence in arts and culture in the Fraser Valley.
The Reach is a vibrant and creative environment for volunteers. If you would like to use your time and talents to contribute to the arts and cultural life of Abbotsford, we are the place!
Are you passionate about art, culture, and heritage? Do you love sharing your knowledge with others? Do you enjoy chatting with new people? If you answered yes to these questions then you sound like a Gallery Attendant! This important volunteer position ensures that our visitors have a great experience and our exhibitions are safe.
Tasks Include:
• Monitoring the exhibition spaces in an effort to keep our visitors and exhibitions safe
• Providing information to visitors about the exhibitions
• Assisting with special events
We are currently seeking regular, weekly Gallery Attendants on Tuesdays from 11:30am-1pm and Thursdays from 7pm-9pm.
