Our reading buddies program has become so popular we are having a hard time keeping up with the demand! Volunteers must come to the library to fill out an application and get a CRC, then commit to meeting with their “Little Buddy” once a week to help them practice reading at a mutually agreeable time.

Reading Buddies is a program that pairs high school students and adult volunteers with kids in Grades 1 to 4 who need extra help. We will continue matching buddies until Spring 2018. Big Buddies must be aged 15 + and/or registered in Grades 10 to 12.
